Every year, our employees pick a few charities they’d like to raise money for and then schedule fundraising events throughout the year to make it happen.
This quarter we decided to bring in the holiday season by buying Christmas gifts and necessities for the Adopt-a-Family programs available at the Belle Center and Valley Community Association. These programs provide an opportunity for organizations to brighten the holidays for families in need throughout the Western New York community.
In total, we raised $1,800 for these charities; in addition to donating hundreds of dollars in gifts for the fourth quarter charities.
This was a very successful charity year for our team. We raised over $8,500 and dedicated a total of 250 hours of community service for various non-profit organizations including Hoops for Homes, Habitat for Humanity, and Family Justice Center.
Other charities we donated to this year include The Food Bank of WNY’s “Fill a Backpack” program and Makes Sense; a local autism and special needs supply store.
