Understanding the basics of certifications in the hose and piping industry can be really helpful and time-saving. There are so many different certifying bodies, codes and standards that it can be very hard to know which ones may or may not be necessary. Sometimes customers will catch wind of a specific code or certification that they believe is necessary to conform to but don’t actually know if it’s needed at all, or how to apply it.
Making sure we conform to codes is important but trying to apply the wrong code is like fitting a square peg into a round hole, and can add time, cost, and confusion.
